Hi,
You are here on my blog because you are looking for an awesome wedding photography studio to document you South Asian wedding in Toronto, Canada or perhaps even a destination wedding.
After being in this business for about 12 years I am aware of what difficulties newly engaged couples have when they start their search. On this blog I am hoping to show a few of my pictures from various Pakistani, Sri Lankan and Indian weddings in Toronto and perhaps other parts of Canada and the World. Please visit my Indian Wedding Photography Gallery as well as other galleries and the blog to learn more.
Typically I shoot up to 8 South Asian weddings per year aside from traditional marriages. If you would ask me to describe my style, I would have to say it's a mix of candid, bollywood, fashion, traditional, fun, elegance, humor, etc. I believe a good mix is necessary to capture all the details of the day. Every couple wants family images and being able to pose everyone properly is a vital part of this business. Most couples also want creative pictures with 2 of them together, along with the bridal party. Not only that, each couple wants to look great! This is why I've spent years perfecting my posing skills and can either pose bride and groom naturally or in more fashion poses ( up to you!). Then of course comes the Candid or Photojournalistic style of photo coverage. Throughout the day I take a lot of images of all the families and friends laughing, dancing, crying from happiness and having a good time.
I edit all the pictures from your wedding and each frame will look amazing. Yes, I know you will not get this from any other wedding photographers and this is no common. Most studios either just edit a few dozen and leave the rest out of the camera or put all of them through an automated plugin with pretty much no editing other than colorless, contrast-less junk which is trending now,but will become obsolete in 3-4 years. Why that automated editing that takes 30 minutes for all the images is not good? Well, it deletes all the information, destroys skin so that it looks rough, deletes all the colors which you will never get back. The only way it's trending now, because it's the only way most photographers are able to edit. Photoshop takes years to learn and most studios barely have any experience (oops, a secret :) )
So what's the difference? It takes me up to 20 minutes to edit every single image. Your images are delivered not in 3-8 months but 2-3 weeks and every single image is completely edited by hand, one by one. All the portraits, have additional high-fashion retouching that you see in fashion magazines.
It's a long process that takes me up to 80 hours per wedding. This is why I don't market myself as "Cheap Wedding Photographer". It's impossible to invest 100+ hours in a single wedding and charge only $1500-2000.
For engaged couples looking to elope locally within Canada, USA or want to have a destination wedding I offer packages from 1-5 days in duration which includes events such as mehndi, engagement session, Sikh, Hindu or/and any other religious and cultural ceremonies and trash the dress session. In the last 12 years I've been fortunate to document dozens and dozens of South Asian destination weddings in Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica, Costa Rica, India, Bahamas, Hawaii, USA and many more. There a a lot of beautiful 5 star resorts which can not only host your religious ceremony and provide all the necessary items, but also cook the delicious South Asian food!
If you think you may be interested, please send an email or give me a call to discuss all the details
For any further information, please send us an email or give a quick call to setup an appointment at the studio. I also welcome to visit the website to go through all the galleries and information pages.
